Hello, visitors!  Welcome to my site!  I am a first-year PhD student in linguistics at Cornell University.  My interests include syntax, information structure, and Chinese linguistics.

Before I came to Cornell, I completed an MPhil program in general linguistics at the University of Oxford, where I participated in the radically different tutorial system.  I had tutorials in phonology, morphology, and historical linguistics.

Prior to Oxford, I studied mathematics and economics as an undergrad at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.  For more information about my relevant experience, please check out my Research, Teaching, and Miscellany pages.
